'z-d-C~.~, <br />~~_ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 91- L04 <br />BY: RON TALLON <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES TO <br />SOLICIT BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A LIFE <br />INSURANCE POLICY INSURING FULL TIME <br />ADMINISTRATIVE EMPLOYEES AND ALL ELECTED <br />PUBLIC OFFICIALS FOR TERM INSURANCE IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000.00). <br />n~/ 7~c / <br />WHEREAS, this Council previously appropriated funds to provide for life insurance <br />benefits to administrative employees and all elected public officials; <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to provide the aforesaid benefit in that the <br />same is currently being provided to bargaining unit employees either directly or by virtue of the <br />payment of health and welfare benefits. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Personnel and Administrative Services be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to solicit bids for term life insurance in the amount of Ten <br />Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for administrative employees and elected public officials, as <br />aforesaid, and that upon approval of a lowest and best bid by the Board of Control, the Mayor <br />is directed to enter into a contract for same. <br />SECTION 2: This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br />,- ``~ <br />PASSED: ~ ~-~ <br />ATTEST: <br />BARBARA L.
