~_ <br />~~, <br />CITY OF 1~RTH OIMSTID <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91 - 102 <br />By: Council Member Saringer <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE IA'IPROVEMENT OF MARION ROAD, AS DETAILID IN <br />THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUTHORIZING TEIE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving <br />the roadway and sewers along Marion Road, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared by the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for the improvement of Marion Road pavement <br />and sewers according to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~G/ c.~ / 1 <br />APPROVED: , i / <br />~~w~ ~ ~ ~~ <br />Edward J.
