Y <br />~/" <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-60 <br />BY: THE MAYOR AND ENTIRE CITY COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING APRIL 7 THROUGH 14 AS THE WEEK <br />OF THE YOUNG CHILD. <br />WHEREAS, The education provided today is the tool for <br />producing the effective leaders of tomorrow; and <br />WHEREAS, It is the responsibility of all citizens and <br />parents to assist in the development of quality early <br />childhood education; and <br />WHEREAS, The National Association for the Education of <br />Young Children is urging all communities to recognize the <br />importance of a quality early childhood education during The <br />Week of the Young Child - April 7 through April 14; and <br />WHEREAS, The Community of North Olmsted acknowledges <br />the early childhood education programs offered within its <br />boundaries by its school system, its libraries and its day <br />care centers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That it is the desire of this Council to <br />support programs that assist our youth to assume responsible <br />roles in the world of tomorrow. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and <br />be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by <br />law. /~ <br />PASSED : ~ R~-c~ e~ ~q ~ ~ <br />Jame~ll. tioerimer, <br />President of Council <br />~' ~ ~ ~ y~'t ~a ~ // <br />AT EST: <br />Barbara Sema Clerk of Counci <br />
