'~ The members of Council and the Administration are sad to see Florence retire. This was especially so due to the fact that the retirement was brought about because of her illness. The Council and Administration cheered her on during her illness and prayed with her and marveled at her stamina in her fight for life. In a way it seemed that it was quite appropriate that the date of her retirement was the date of the commencement of the war in the Middle East. In her retirement, this Council will always be with her in whatever mountain she climbs, river she crosses or battle she fights. This Council and the Administration will truly miss Flo, but we recognize that in life there is a time for sowing and a time for reaping. Florence truly deserves an abundant harvest of sunshine, love of family and friends, cool breezes, long walks on the beach, soft and gentle rain, a cool swim, children's laughter and to walk in peace and comfort with her God. S~7CTION 1: That the Council of the City of North Olmsted personally and collectively and on behalf of the Mayor and the Administration and all residents of the City, honors the public service of Florence E. Campbell, and extends its debt of gratitude to her. SFJCTION 2: Be it further resolved that this Resolution be spread in full upon the records of this Council and that the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a duly authenticated and executed copy of this Resolution to Florence E.
