CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 91 - 14 <br />BY: Mayor Ed Boyle <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TEIE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO <br />A CONTRACT WITH THE OHIO PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION, PHASE B, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted, in anticipation of receiving <br />Issue 2 money, obtained engineering plans and specifications for the <br />Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Phase B, and <br />WHEREAS, upon application for said funds, the Ohio Public Works Commission <br />approved said project in an amount not to exceed $1,781,000.00. <br />WHEREAS, the City is required to approve the action of the Ohio Works <br />Commission by entering into an Agreement accepting said funds, and <br />WI-~EREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize and direct the Mayor <br />to enter into the attached contract, which is marked Exhibit "A". <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into an Agreement with the Ohio Public Works Commission for the <br />Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Phase B. A copy of said Agreement is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that is immediately <br />necessary to enter into the aforesaid Agreement to meet the construction <br />season of 1991, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall go into immediate <br />force and effect upon its signed by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : ~ ~;~~ f~ ~.~.,c. tiv ~ / 9 ~/ / <br />A'~TEST: <br />~._~ . <br />Barbara L.
