CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91 - 9 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER <br />IMPROVFr1IIVTS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS 1N THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has had plans and specifications prepared <br />for sanitary sewer improvements as various locations on Mastick Road, <br />Brookpark Road, Michael Avenue and Brendan Lane and deems it appropriate <br />for the best utilization of the sewer system to construct the aforesaid <br />sanitary sewer improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of the recommendation of the <br />City Engineer, is desirous of having the Director of Public Service advertise <br />for bids in accordance with the plans and specifications now in his office for <br />the purpose of constructing sanitary sewer improvements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEIE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for the construction of the sanitary <br />sewer improvements at various locations in the City of North Olmsted, all <br />of which shall be in accordance with specifications now on file in his <br />office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same on behalf <br />of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that is immediately <br />necessary to take corrective actions in order to insure the health, safety <br />and welfare of the residents served by these sewers and further, provided <br />it received the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~' %c~i(,cut,,~;,,c~ /'.5 ; ~Q Q / <br />-- <br />A~TTEST: <br />Barbara L.
