CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91 - 4 <br />BY: o ,n ; 1 M mb (~ orge_ Nashar <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF WATER LINE <br />IMPROVEME!>TrS AT NORTH OLMSTED PARK IN THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has had plans and specifications prepared for <br />water line improvements at North Olmsted Park and deems it appropriate <br />for the best utilization of the park and for persons using the Senior <br />Citizens Building to construct the aforesaid water line improvements and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of the recommendation of the <br />City Engineer is desirous of having the Director of Public Service <br />advertise for bids in accordance with the plans and specifications now <br />in his office for the purpose of constructing water line improvements; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a grant is available to pay for a portion of the construction <br />cost of this project. <br />NOti,T, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTID, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for the construction of the <br />water line improvements at North Olmsted Park in the City of North <br />Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance with specifications now on <br />file, in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2 That this Resolution is hereby declared to bean emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to take corrective actions in order to insure the health, <br />safety and welfare of the individuals using North Olmsted Park and <br />further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />~ , <br />PASSED: ~. ~4tQ;t ~ is ~ i9~ / ~ ~-li-~ ~'.~°`'`~-x-~ ' ~~i.~i~>l <br />it <br />A C,ES~~T : r~ f <br />Barbara L.
