?, . . ?.,.,. . <br />_ .. .x.,.?.?_.? .. . . . ..., ._ ....,. _. <br />. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the City of North Olmsted does hereby approve the resolution of <br />request by the Joint Committee to the Director of the Ohio EPA to implement and supervise an <br />Enhanced Motor Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program in the seven counties of <br />Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit in order to reduce hydrocarbon <br />emissions. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk is directed to deliver this resolution to Howard R. Maier, <br />Executive Director of the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency, The Atrium Office <br />Plaza, 668 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44114-3000. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall be and the same is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the City and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to meet the <br />time constraints of the Clean Air Act, and further provided that it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members of Council, it sha11 take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed: ? , Eq 3 <br />A t: <br />/ Barbara L.
