CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID ORDINANCE N0. 93-144 BY: Mayor Boyle P/ /aID (/Cf 3 AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR 1HE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1994. WHEREAS, Council wishes to appropriate certain funds for police cars to be purchased during the year ending December, 31, 1994. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND THE STATE OF OHIO: Section 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said city of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1994, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows: HOTEL MOTEL TAX FUND FOLICE DEPAR1MENf: Equipment 90,000 Section 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. Section 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditure; provided that no warrants shall be employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of a two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense other than those covered by other specific appropriations herein made. Section 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
