? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-138 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN NASHAR <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TfiE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CATCH BASIN, MANHOLE, SIDEWALK, CURBING <br />AND PAVEMENT REPAIRS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN ZTiE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />AND DECLARING AN IlMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has had plans and specifications prepared for <br />catch basin, manhole, sidewalk, curbirg and pavement repairs at various <br />locations in the City of North Olmsted and deems it appropriate for the safety <br />and welfare of the public to construct the aforesaid improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of <br />City Engineer is desirous of having the Director of <br />bids in accordance with the plans and specifications <br />purpose of catch basin, manhole, sidewalk, curbing a <br />the recomunendation of the <br />Public Service advertise for <br />now in his office for the <br />nd pavement repairs. <br />NOW, nMREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THEE COUNCIL OF gIE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, ANID STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: 'I'hat the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for the repair of catch basin, manhole, <br />sidewalk, curbing and pavement repairs at various locations in the City of North <br />Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance with specifications now on file in <br />his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same on behalf of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to take <br />corrective actions in order to insure the health, safety and welfare of the <br />residents, and further provided that it receives the affirrnative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immedi#-e1y,,upon its passabe and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : / / ? % q3 <br />AT ST: ? <br />BARBARA L.
