ANp &WIlMRM SIItVICFS PHtTATN'1? <br />??TD CONSTR13CT A NEW FIRB STATICK NU. 1 IN THE CITY OF NOR7S <br />OIM1'ED, AM DECI,ARIlU AN TM2GENr.v. <br />WHEREAS, the Ma.yor has recornmended that the services of the architectural firm <br />of Dickson Associates, Inc., be hired to accomplish the aforesaid project due to <br />their expertise in this field, and <br />NffERSAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express <br />its desire to have the 14ayor enter into a contract with said firm for and on <br />behalf of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 7HE COUNCIL OF 'II-iE CITY OF NORTEI OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SEMON 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into and Contract with Dickson Associates, Inc., for the purpose of <br />providing Architectural an.d engineering services pertaining to plans to construct <br />a new Fire Station No. 1 in the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: Zhat this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an energency measure <br />u?nne?Tiately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, <br />and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with the <br />preliminary plans and further that, provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of a11 members of Council, it sYtall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ? ?
