CITY OF NORTIi OLMSTID <br />BY: Councilman Lind <br />RESOLUTION N0. 93-70 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THEE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />AllVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE (1) VACUUM STREET SWEEPER, AND <br />DECLARING AN IIMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY 1'HE COUNCIL OF 7HE CITY OF NOR'IH QLMSTED, COITNTY OF CUYAHOGA <br />AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTIUN l: 'That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized <br />to advertise for bicis for one (1) Vacuum Street Sweeper for use in the Service <br />Department. Said Vacuum Street Sweeper sha.ll conform to the specifications now on <br />file in the office of the Director of Public Service, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is Yiereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare <br />and for the further reason it is immediately necessary to maintain service to area <br />residents and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: Ott-'-, <br />ATTES • -, <br />B L.
