? ...?,.??.. <br />'. .. <br />. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 93-64 <br />BY.• MAYOR EDWARD BOYLE <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE <br />MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER <br />INTO A MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />CLEVELAND HOPKINS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CITY <br />OF CLEVELAND, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING TO <br />THE CITY OF CLEVELAND EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br />SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT IN THE EVENT OFAIRCRAFl <br />ACCIDENT OR OTHER DISASTER AT CLEVELAND <br />HOPKINS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, AND PROVIDING TO <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BACK- UP CAPABILITY <br />FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE AND EQUIPMENT <br />AND FIRE FIGHTING PERSONNEL IN THE EVENT OF AN <br />EMERGENCY IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Safety Director of the City of North <br />Olmsted, this council believes that it is appropriate to enter into a Mutual Aid Agreement with <br />Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, the City of Cleveland, for purposes of providing <br />mutual aid in the event of disasters, either at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport or <br />conversely for the City of North Olmsted where additional assistance is needed; and <br />WHEREAS, after conferring with the City of Cleveland, it has been determined that the <br />City of Cleveland is desirous of entering into an agreement with the City of North Olmsted to <br />provide mutual aid; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Safety Director, it is the desire of this <br />council to enter into such an agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />Mutual Aid Agreement with the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, City of Cleveland, for <br />the purpose for providing mutual aid to both participants, a copy of said agreement is atta.ched <br />hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit A.
