<br />CITY OF NOR1gi OLMSrED <br />ORDDUWCB AA. 93 - 61 <br />BY: David Lind <br />AN ORDINA1Vl;E AMMING THE TRAFFIC CONIROL FILE OF THE <br />CITY QF MR7S OIWM BY PROVIDIlG FOR 7M INSTAT TATTQ1v <br />OF A STOP SIGN ON OONCORD DRIVE WM THE SAME IlVTERSF]GTS <br />WIM DANBERRL DRIVE, TMMM RDgJIATIlM TRAFFIC ERnKM <br />naMBERuv DRIVE, ANID DECI.ARiNG AN FiKMML-Y. <br />NHEREAS, this Council is aware of the fact that currently there is no <br />stop sign regulating traffic entering anto Danberry Drive from Concord Drive; and <br />VAEMM, it is the belief of this Council that the lack of a stop sign <br />on Concord Drive, where the same intersects with Danberry Drive, regulating <br />traffic entering Danberry Drive is a safety hazard; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to correct the aforesaid <br />deficiency by installing a stop sign on Concord Drive, regulating traffic <br />entering Danberry Drive; and <br />WHEREA.5, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides far the maintenance of <br />the Traffic Control File, which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />NOW, MRKFORE, BE IT OgDAIlM BY THE (X)UA]CIL OF THE CITY OF NORIIi (IIMSTED, <br />COi]NtY OF CIlYMU, ANID STA1E OF Offi0: <br />SEIG'.CION 1: lhat the Police Department be and the same is hereby <br />authorize?d directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North <br />Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of a stop sign an Concord Drive <br />where the same intersects with Danberry Drive, thereby regulating the traffic <br />entering Danberry Drive. <br />SBCTIOK 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause saiTstop sign to be installed in accordance with the provisions of <br />this Ordinance. <br />SHCrION 3: 'Ilzat this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure um=iately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its pa.ssage and approval by <br />the Mayor.
