<br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. q3-45 <br />BY : MAYOR BOYLE <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE METHOD BY WHICH <br />FEES FOR THE USE OF THE FACILITIES OF THE RECREATION <br />DEPARTMENT ARE TO BE FIXED, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />N0. 90-149 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, by virtue of Ordinance No. 90-149, Council established rates <br />and fees for the use of the facilities & programs of the Recreation <br />Department and upon reconsideration, has determined that certain rates <br />and fees should be adjusted and fees determined for other departmental <br />programs and a program of reduced resident rates be established: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLAISTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That a resident identification card be established for <br />all residents of the City of North Olmsted who wish to participate in <br />programs of the North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Department. <br />A. Identification cards shall be issued by the Parks and <br />Recreation Department to Residents of North Olmsted. <br />Such cards shall include the name, address and phone number <br />of resident as well as picture. <br />B. Fee for processing of these cards shall be $2.50 per card. <br />Replacement of a card shall have a fee of $2.00. $1.75 for <br />each additional card per family. <br />C. The Director of Parks and Recreation shall establish times <br />that cards are available for purchase and an appropriate <br />registration form. Residency must be verified through a <br />current voters registration card, land tax statement, or <br />other means of verification as approved by the Recreation <br />Director. Children shall be verified by their parents. <br />D. For all fees included in this Ordinance, a resident shall <br />show his identification card to receive the appropriate <br />resident rate at the time of payment. Non card holders and <br />non card carriers shall be charged the non-resident fee in <br />all cases. <br />E. Members of the "WE CARE' Program, which includes all City <br />employees and their families; members of Council and their <br />families; and Board and Commission members and their families <br />shall be entitled to the following privileges:
