UEEREAS, this Council is aware of the fact that currently there is no stop sign regulating traffic entering onto Barton Road from Cinnamon Way; and wHEmAS, it is the belief of this Council tha.t the lack of a stop sign on Cinnamon Way where the same intersects with Barton Road, regulating traffic entering Barton Road is a safety hazard; and WHFRFAS, it is the desire of this Council to correct the aforesaid deficiency by installing a stop sign on Cinnamon Way regulating traffic entering Barton Road; and wE:RF.A-S, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of the Traffic Control File, which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. NO,1, ??F., BE IT ORDAIlM BY THE COINCIL OF 1HE CITY OF NORTH 0U15TED, COiJN13C OF COYAHOGA, AM STATB OF Oiffi0: SWTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of a stop sign an Cinnamon Way where the sam intersects with Barton Road, thereby regulating the traffic entering Barton Road. SE (.'rION 2: That the Mayor be and he is lereby authorized and directed to cause saicTstop sig}n to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. SELTION 3: Zhat this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an esnergency measure immeciately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall ta.ke effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
