<br />CITY OF NOR7H nIMSTED <br />ORDEViNCS N0. 93 - 41 <br />BY: George Nashar <br />AN ORDINANC:E AMMIlNG 7NE ZTtAFFIC CONIROL FILE OF ZHE <br />CITY OF NOB'1S OIMS'MD SY PROVIDIlNG F0R 796 TnSeAT T.ATTpN <br />OF A S"TOP SI(N GN AT:FxANDRA COURT WHERE 1HE SAME INTERSFiCrS <br />WjM WESDMUM j)gly$, TMM RF1?1f.AT11iX; TRAFFIC ENTERIIU <br />WES'IlU15MM D81VE, ANID DBCI,ARIIM AN EMERMCY. <br />THRM, this Council is aware of the fact that currently there is no <br />stop sign regulati.ng traffic entering anto Westrninster Drive from Alexandra <br />Court; and <br />WMREAS, it is the belief of this Couneil that the lack of a stop sign <br />on Alexandra Court where the sarie intersects with Westminster Drive, regulating <br />traffic entering Westminster Drive is a safety hazard; and <br />iEII2F.A-S, it is the desire of this Council to correct the aforesaid <br />deficiency by installing a stop sign an Alexandra Court regulating traffic <br />entering Westminster Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Tra£fic Code provides for the maintenance of <br />the Traffic Control File, which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />NOW, 7?3tOM, BE IT ORDAIINED SY THE OOiINCII, OF THE CITY OF NOffi OU4STED, <br />COUANlY OF QIYAHOGA, ANID STATE OF OFIIO: <br />SECTION 1: 'Ihat the Police Department be and the same is hereby <br />authorize? ana directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North <br />Olr.isted to indicate thereon the installation of a stop sign an Alexandra Court <br />where the same intersects with Westminster Drive, thereby regulating the traffic <br />entering Westminster Drive, as aforesaid. <br />SF?'TION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause sa?stop sign to be installed in accordance with the provisions of <br />this Ordinance. <br />SEE'TION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declaxed to be an energency <br />measure i.mmeZciately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />,?,,.nA. ,.?? _.•- - -??- _.....
