ORDI001C6 M. 93 - 39 <br />BY: George Nashar <br />AN ORDINANCE AMMIlM THE TRAFFIC GONT.tOL FII,E OF THE <br />CITY OF NORIH OIMSM) BY PROVIDIlG FCR 7HS iTAT T.ATTpN <br />OF A S'1bP SIGN ON URS[TLA COIRT WRE THE SAME IlVTFRSDCTS <br />WIM RRFI'tYN RIDGE DRIVE, TMMM TRAFFIC ENTER7NG <br />BREi'mrT RIDGE DRIVE, ANID DECLARIlM AN IIgRGENCY. <br />14MREAS, this Council is aware of the fact tha.t currently there is no <br />stop sign regulating traffic entering anto Bretton Ridge Drive from Ursula <br />Court; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the belief of this Council that the lack of a stop sign <br />on Ursula Court, where the same intersects with Bretton Ridge Drive, regulating <br />traffic entering Bretton Ridge Drive is a safety hazard; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to correct the aforesaid <br />deficiency by installing a stop sign an Ursula Court regulating traffic entering <br />Bretton Ridge Drive; and <br />WEHMEAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of <br />the Traffic Control File, which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />Nt7W, THERE'ORE, BE IT ORD!AINED BY TfE COUNCIL OF 1M CITY OF NORTH OLMS'i'ID, <br />Ca[JNiY OF COYAHOGA, ANID ST.ATB CF OM0: <br />SE(TION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby <br />authorizecT?anc directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North <br />Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of a stop sign an Ursula Court <br />where the same intersects with Bretton Ridge Drive, thereby regulating the <br />traffic entering Bretton Ridge Drive. <br />SFJ(.'rION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause saicT-stop sign to be installed in accordance with the provisions of <br />this Ordinance. <br />SELTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an energency <br />measure imecTiately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immdiately upon its passage and approval by <br />. <br />the Nlayor. <br />
