TRAFFIC ENTERIM <br />SANIDPIPER LANE, ANID DBCI,ARIlVG AN FMERCENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council is aware of the fact that currently there is no <br />stop sign regulating traffic entering onto Sandpiper Lane from Walnut Lane; and <br />WHERF.,4S, it is the belief of this Council that the lack of a stop sign <br />on Walnut Lane where the same intersects with Sandpiper Lane, regulating <br />traffic entering Sandpiper Lane, is a safety hazard; and <br />WHERFAS, it is the desire of this Council to correct the aforesaid <br />deficiency by installing a stop sign on Walnut Lane regulating traffic entering <br />Sandpiper Lane; and <br />WHERFAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of <br />the Traffic Control File, which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />NaW, MEREFnRF, BE IT cNtnA7RM BY THE OOjJNCIL OF 7HE CITY OF NORZH OIMSTED, <br />(O[INiY QF CUYAHOGA, ADID STATB OF CHIO: <br />SBCrION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby <br />authoriz an directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North <br />Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of a stop sign on Walnut Lane <br />where the same intersects with Sandpiper Lane, thereby regulating the traffic <br />entering Sandpiper Lane. <br />SBCTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cau sa?Tstop sign to be installed in accordance with the provisions of <br />this Ordinance. <br />SSF7CCTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an Energency <br />measure?immeTiately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor.
