LIND <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0: 93-26 <br />? <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHTNt A POLICY FOR CERTAIN <br />BENEFITS FOR ALL NON-B,'tiRt AINING UNIT FULL TIME <br />EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY UF1`.ORTH OLMSTED WHO HAVE <br />COMPLETED THEIR PROBAT?;O:rARY PERIOD. <br />WHEREAS, this council heretofore established and <br />adopted a policy with respect to certain benefits for all <br />non-bargaining unit full-time employees of the City of North <br />Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Council to adopt a <br />revised policy with respect to certain benefits for all non- <br />bargaining unit full-time personal, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that the <br />probationary period for all non-bargaining unit full-time <br />personnel shall be for a period of (180) one hundred and <br />eighty days. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this council to establish <br />a uniform policy regarding; sick leave credit, accumulation <br />of sick leave credit, payment of accumulation sick leave <br />credit upon retirement, disability or death; jury duty & <br />standardized probationary period. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: The "Sick Leave" policy for all non- <br />bargaining unit employees of the City of North Olmsted, <br />excluding elected officials is hereby established as <br />follows: <br />A. Sick Leave Credit: <br />1. Accumulation of Credit-Sick Leave is earned in <br />accordance with the state minimum requirement <br />at the rate of 1-1/4 days per month of <br />employment or 15 days per year.
