f , <br />ORDINANCE N0. 93-19 <br />SECTION 14: That all ranges and amounts established for the year <br />1993, will be effective retroactive to January l, 1993. Salaries <br />specified in this ordinance shall be paid by the Director of Finance <br />on a bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 15: That upon the approval of the Mayor or respective <br />Director, all full-time administrative and legislative personnel, with <br />the exception of those holding Elected or Director positions, listed <br />in this ordinance will be paid time and one-half of their straight <br />time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any <br />one day and time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for <br />hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one work week. <br />Double time shall be paid to said employees for Sundays and Holidays <br />provided they have worked at least forty (40) hours during the work <br />week. <br />SECTION 16: That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed in this Ordinance with the exception of Directors <br />having completed five (5) years of full-time service as an employee of <br />the City shall be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base <br />annual salary; thereafter until completion of their tenth (lOth) year <br />of full-time service after which such employee shall receive five <br />percent (5%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until completion <br />of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time service, such employee <br />shall receive six percent (6%) of their base annual salary until after <br />the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full-time service, and <br />during each year of full-time service thereafter, they shall receive <br />seven percent (7%) of their base annual salary as longevity <br />increments. <br />SECTION 17: That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following <br />holidays off, unless required to work by their supervisor or the Mayor <br />in emergencies, and shall receive their regular rate of pay; New <br />Year's Day; Presidents' Day; one-half (%2) day on Good Friday; <br />Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day? <br />one-half (2) day on Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; one-half (z) day <br />on New Year's Eve Day; the employee's birthday; and a floating <br />holiday. SECTION 18: That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed within this ordinance shall be entitled to an annual <br />vacation in accordance with the vacation ordinance. All previous <br />service as an elected City public official within the City shall be <br />considered full-time for the purpose of calculating vacation and sick <br />leave upon retirement. <br />SECTION 19: That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />non-bargaining unit personnel shall receive two (2) eight (8) hour <br />days off with pay or may elect to be paid for two (2) eight (8) hour <br />day, for each six (6) continuous month period of unused sick leave. <br />No month shall be counted in more than one period. <br />SECTION 20: That all ordinances or resolutions or parts of <br />ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed <br />with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />-6-
