CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0.2011 - 41 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 167.99 OF CHAPTER 167 OF <br />THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ENTITLED "DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN <br />RESOURCES" IN ORDER TO CREATE THE POSITION OF HELP DESK <br />COORDINATOR WITHIN THE DIVISION OF INFORMATION <br />TECHNOLOGY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance 2010-64 (effective August 1, 2010) amended and re-established <br />the organization of the Department of Human Resources and the divisions within that <br />Department; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Director of Human Resources that a <br />reallocation of responsibility is in order within the Division of Information Technology; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Administration that the Department of <br />Human Resources, Division of Information Technology additionally be comprised of a Help <br />Desk Coordinator; and <br />WHEREAS, consistent with the recommendation of the Administration, it is the desire of <br />this Council to amend the employee positions found within section 167.99 "Composition and <br />Organization of the Department of Human Resources" by amending Chapter 167 of the <br />Administrative Code. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Chapter 167.99 "Composition and Organization of the Department of <br />Human Resources" which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit A, which is <br />attached to this Ordinance and incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten herein, shall be <br />amended and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit B, which is likewise <br />attached to this Ordinance and likewise incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten herein. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with <br />this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. Conflicting or <br />inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re-codification. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately so as to reflect <br />the allocation of responsibility within the Department of Human Resources, Division of <br />Information Technology, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all <br />
