Ch. 947 <br />945.01 MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE. <br />The management and operation of the North Olmsted Community Cabin shall be under <br />the supervision of the Director of Community Life Services and the maintenance thereof shall be <br />under the supervision of the Service Director. <br />The Service Director shall designate such employees of the Service Department as may <br />be necessary to assist in the operation of the North Olmsted Community Cabin, including the <br />preparation for the use of the building by groups and organizations, and checking to determine <br />any loss or damage to the building or equipment. <br />The rental of the North Olmsted Senior Center shall be under the supervision of the <br />Director of Community Life Services and the maintenance thereof under the supervision of the <br />Service Director. The management and operation of the North Olmsted Senior Center shall be <br />under the supervision of the Administrator of the Division of Aging. The Service Director, the <br />Director of Community Life Services, and the Administrator of the Division of Aging shall <br />coordinate their functions (management, operations, maintenance, and rental of facilities) for the <br />successful intended use of these facilities. <br />(Ord. 2006-13. Passed 2-7-06.) <br />945.02 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT; DEPOSIT AND REFUND. <br />The Director of Community Life Services and the Director's Secretary are authorized to <br />rent the North Olmsted Community Cabin and North Olmsted Senior Center under the terms and <br />conditions set forth in this chapter. All applications for rent shall be in writing signed by a <br />member of the group or organization making application. The application shall be filed with the <br />Director's Secretary, who shall receive, at the time of filing the application, all charges and <br />deposits and shall issue a permit to the group or organization making application, signed by the <br />Director and the Director's Secretary. The permit shall be nonassignable and shall be used only <br />by the group or organization receiving the same. Such permit shall be in triplicate, the original <br />of which shall be retained by the Director's Secretary; the first copy shall be delivered to the <br />applicant and the second copy to the Service Department. The Service Department copy shall be <br />delivered to the Department at least twenty-four hours prior to the function for which the permit <br />is issued. Within the period of twenty-four hours after the function for which the permit was <br />issued, the Service Department shall deliver its copy of the permit to the Secretary of the <br />Director of Community Services, with notations thereon regarding any loss or damage to the <br />building or equipment or furnishings and any other remarks pertinent thereto. The Director's <br />Secretary shall make no refunds of any deposits until receiving the Service Department copy of <br />the permit, and determining the amount to be retained from the deposit. In case of any shortage <br />or damage to equipment or building or furnishings the decision of the Director of Community <br />Life Services shall be final and a refund based accordingly. The Director's Secretary shall obtain <br />from the applicant a receipt for the amount refunded and note thereon the reasons for deductions, <br />if any, and file the same, together with the application and duplicate permit, in the office of the <br />Director of Community Life Services. <br />The application for the permit and the permit to be issued shall be on a form prescribed <br />by the Director of Community Life Services. <br />(Ord. 2006-13. Passed 2-7-06.) <br />945.03 CANCELLATIONS; USE OF FUNDS. <br />The group or organization holding a permit may cancel the same by giving notice in <br />writing to the Secretary of the Director of Community Life Services at least four days in advance <br />of th e date and time for which the permit is issued. In such event they shall forfeit fifty percent <br />(50 /o) of the rental charge. If notice is not given as herein stated, the group or organization to <br />whom the permit is issued shall forfeit the full amount of the rental charge. <br />All moneys derived from the rental and deposits for the use of the Community <br />Cabin/Senior Center shall be paid into the General Fund of the City and shall be allocated and <br />
