C. Printing shops and graphic arts facilities. <br />D. Dance, voice and music studios. <br />E. Barber shops, beauty shops, custom tailors, laundry or dry cleaning <br />agencies, self-service laundries and dry cleaning and shoe repair <br />shops. <br />F. Research and testing laboratories; radio and television stations; <br />telephone exchanges; pay stations and transformer stations. <br />G. Animal hospitals/clinics and animal grooming facilities, provided <br />that animal noise and odor must be effectively confined to any such <br />building so used. <br />H. Hotels and motels. <br />I. Banks, loan and finance companies, and other financial <br />institutions. <br />J. Gasoline service stations and automobile wash, provided that no <br />part of the lot upon which the same is located is within 500 feet of <br />any lot occupied by an existing church, public or private school, <br />playground, park, library, public building or building of <br />institutional occupancy, except where the distance is intersected by <br />a street at least sixty feet in width and no alcoholic beverages are <br />dispensed or sold on the same lot. <br />K. Bowling alleys, dance halls, pool and billiard parlors, skating rinks, <br />indoor theatres, assembly halls or other sport or recreation centers, <br />provided the buildings in which they operate are sufficiently sound <br />insulated to confine effectively the noise to within the building so <br />used. <br />L. Accessory uses customarily incident to a primary use described in <br />this section, including offstreet parking as regulated in Chapter <br />1161 and signs as regulated in Chapter 1163. <br />M. Any and all uses permitted in Chapter 1138 subject to the <br />provisions stated therein. <br />(c) Other retail service establishments as determined similar in accordance with the <br />provisions of Section 1123.10. <br />(d) Permitted Buildings and Uses by Conditional Use Permit. The following uses <br />may be permitted in a General Retail Business District if a conditional use permit is issued in <br />accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1118: <br />(1) Vehicle repair establishments including engines, body and paint. <br />(2) Animal training facilities and indoor animal boarding facilities, excluding <br />kennels, provided, that, in addition to the criteria, standards and conditions <br />provided for in Chapter 1118, no such facility shall be located closer than <br />350 feet from any residential zoning district, and further provided that <br />animal noise and odor must be effectively confined to any such building so <br />used. <br />(3) Recycling collection centers, provided, that, in addition to the criteria, <br />standards and conditions provided for in Chapter 1118, no such facility <br />shall be located closer than 200 feet from any residential zoning district, <br />all operations, storage and other business activities must be conducted <br />completely indoors, and further provided that noise must be effectively <br />confined to any such building so used. Such a facility may be no larger <br />than 10,000 square feet. <br />3 <br />
