CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2011-71 BY: Mayor Kennedy AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR THE YEAR 2011 BY AMENDING SECTION 14 TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF FURLOUGH DAYS FROM SEVEN (7) TO FOUR AND ONE-HALF (4.5); AND OTHERWISE RESTATING THE COMPENSATION RATE CHANGES AND DESCRIPTIONS FOR VARIOUS ADMINSTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR THE YEAR 2011, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is reasonable at this time to reduce the number of furlough days taken by administrative and legislative personnel from seven (7) to four and one-half (4.5). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: Section 1: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for legislative employees for the office of Council. The salaries in this Section shall be determined by City Council as appropriate. (BW =Biweekly; PH =Per Hour) TO PaY A. Office of Council FROM 2011 Type 1. President of Council (established by separate Ordinance 2008-142, through 2013) 2. Council-At-Large Members (established by separate Ordinance 2006-192, through 2011) 3. Ward Council Members (established by separate Ordinance 2008-143, through 2013) 4. Clerk of Council 1,576.92 2,153.85 BW 5. Temporary Clerk of Council shall rec eive $15 PH per meeting and not less than $25 per meeting. Section 2: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for employees of the Department of Law. The salaries in this Section shall be determined by the Director of Law as appropriate. TO PaY A. Department of Law FROM 2011 Type 1. Director of Law (Part-Time) (established by separate Ordinance 2008-144, through 2013) 2. Assistant Director of Law 1,153.85 1,923.08 BW - Civil I (Part-Time) 3. Assistant Director of Law 576.92 1,346.15 BW - Civil II (Part-Time) 4. City Prosecutor (Part-Time) 1,211.54 1,615.38 BW 5. Secretary 1,266.40 1,673.08 BW 6. Law Clerk (Part-Time) 12.00 17.25 PH Section 3: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for employees of the Department of Finance.
