inspection services on the Phase 2 of the WWTP & Collection System improvement <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the anticipated cost of services for a twenty-four (24) month period <br />is $150,000. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the formal RFP process required by Chapter 112 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted is hereby dispensed with by reason of <br />the fact that the Engineering Department, in an effort to be timely in its responsibilities, <br />already commenced and completed such process, albeit before receiving authorization <br />from Council. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract with Solar Testing Labs, Inc. upon terms set forth herein, subject to review and <br />approval of said contract by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and <br />for the reason that the City is scheduled to commence construction in January of 2013; <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED: _OtU_?? <br />ATTEST.• <br />n <br />? <br />MARIE GALLO <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: I (? ? j- <br />MA EVIN M.
