CHAPTER 909 <br />? Aprons <br />909.01 Permit required; fees. <br />909.02 Construction standards. <br />909.03 Contractor to make repairs; failure to comply. <br />909.04 Deduction and refund. <br />909.05 Insufficient deposit. <br />909.99 Penalty. <br />909.01 PERMIT REQUIRED; FEES. <br />No person, except in cases of undedicated subdivisions or in streets where special assessments <br />are to be made, shall install, construct or replace driveway aprons located in the public right of <br />way which connects to a paved or unpaved thoroughfare without first obtaining an apron permit <br />dellar-s ' '. The apnlicant shall pay a <br />permit fee and make a deuosit with the Citv in accordance with the schedule in Chapter <br />900. This amount is necessary to defray the costs of administration and inspection to insure <br />conformance of the work to City specifications. <br />the , <br />, <br />, <br />No portion of the ?fer-etnentiefees shall be refundable. <br />, the <br />frae+ien +hereef ef --..-L:---- t_ ,_ _ The denosit shall cover the cost of inspection <br />and the cost of repairing the curbing or pavement should the applicant fail to make such repairs <br />as are required by the City Engineer. <br />909.02 CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS. <br />The following standards regarding the construction or reconstruction of aprons within the City <br />right of way are hereby established: <br />Curbs, if any, shall be removed or cut to permit the apron to be constructed to the pavement. The <br />apron shall be constructed using a minimum of six inches of Class "C" concrete for residential <br />aprons and minimum of eight inches for others. Horizontal dimensions shall conform to other <br />City standards. Cutting of curbing and all restoration work shall conform to the requirements of <br />the City Engineer. <br />909.03 CONTRACTOR TO MAKE REPAIRS; FAILURE TO COMPLY. <br />Upon completion of the work authorized by the permit granted by compliance with the <br />provisions of this chapter, the contractor shall make such temporary repairs as are necessary to
