<br />A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF HUMAN
<br />RESOURCES TO REQUEST PROPOSALS FOR PERSONAL SERVICES TD
<br />OBTAIN COMPREHENSIVE MUNICIPAL LIABILITY, AUTOMOTIVE
<br />LIABILITY AND PHYSICAL DAMAGE, PUBLIC OFFICIALS ERRORS
<br />AND OMISSIONS, POLICE PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY, PROPERTY,
<br />INLAND MARINE, BOILER AND MACHINERY, BROAD FORM CRIME,
<br />EDP, UMBRELLA, LIQUDR LIABILITY AND OTHER VARIOUS
<br />INSURANCE COVERAGE REQUIRED BY THE CITY OF NORTH
<br />OLMSTED, AS A PACKAGE, AND, FOLLOWING SELECTION BY THE
<br />BOARD OF CONTROL, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A
<br />CONTRACT FOR SAID INSURANCE PACKAGE, AND DECLARING AN
<br />EMERGENCY.
<br />WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources has prepared and filed detailed invitations
<br />and requests for proposals for personal services and the purchase of Comprehensive Municipal
<br />Liability, Automotive Liability and Physical Damage, Public Officials Errors and Omissions,
<br />Police Professional Liability, Property, Inland Marine, Boiler and Machinery, Broad Form
<br />Crime, EDP, Umbrella, Liquor Liability and other various insurance coverage required by the
<br />City of North Olmsted, as a package; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Human Resources
<br />to request and solicit proposals for such insurance coverage, as a package and to further
<br />authorize the Mayor, upon approval of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement or
<br />agreements for the purchase of said insurance package.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO:
<br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Human Resources be and she is hereby authorized to
<br />request proposals for the purchase of Comprehensive Municipal Liability, Automotive Liability
<br />and Physical Damage, Public Officials Errors and Umissions, Police Professional Liability,
<br />Yroperty, Inland Marine, Boiler and Machinery, Broad Form Crime, EDP, Umbrella, Liquor
<br />Liability and other various insurance policies necessary for the City of North Olmsted, as a
<br />package, and in accordance with the invitation forms now on file in her office and that, upon
<br />approval by the Board of Control, tb.at the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement
<br />or agreements with the provider selected for said insurance coverage package.
<br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
<br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the
<br />further reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately to review, renew
