_. __. .??._?._..?......r<,???.?.s.._._.......,,?.?_.?.._..??.....__..?_ .?.?.u,.?wr. <br />• ,v? ? <br />. .? ,.?, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2006 - 185 <br />BY: Mayor O' Grady <br />AN ORDINANCE A UTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO DONATE BUS NO. 204 (1976 GMC <br />BUS T8H-5307A) OWNED BY THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED TO THE OHIO MUSEUM OF <br />TRANSPORTATION. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted is the owner of 1976 GMC Bus T8H-5307A, <br />also known as Bus No. 204, that was formerly used by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line <br />("NOMBL"); and <br />WHEREAS, the said Bus, and various automotive parts purchased for said Bus, are no <br />longer needed by the City of North Olmsted for any municipal purpose; and <br />WHEREAS, there are certain expenses in maintaining a bus that may be avoided if the <br />City disposes of the said Bus; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ohio Museum of Transportation has expressed an interest in obtaining <br />Bus No. 204 from the City of North Olmsted by donation; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Public Service that this Council <br />authorize him to donate the said Bus to the Ohio Museum of Transportation; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council accordingly, acting upon the recommendation <br />of the Director of Public Service, to donate Bus No. 204 and related automotive parts to the <br />Ohio Museum of Transportation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That this Council expressly finds that the 1976 GMC Bus (T8H-5307A), <br />also known as Bus No. 204, owned by the City of North Olmsted and formerly used by the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line ("NOMBL"), and related automotive parts, are no longer <br />needed for any municipal purpose. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Public Service be and he hereby is authorized to <br />donate the said Bus No. 204, and related automotive parts, to the Ohio Museum of <br />Transportation, and further that the Mayor is authorized to execute all documents, including title <br />documents, necessary and appropriate to effectuate said donation of Bus No. 204 and related <br />automotive parts to the Ohio Museum of Transportation.
