CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006 - 180 <br />BY: Mayor O'Grady <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY GENERAL HEALTH DISTRICT FOR THE <br />YEAR 2007, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted, under O.R.C. Section 3709.08, is a member of the <br />General Health District of Cuyahoga County; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted must enter into a contract for the year 2007 for health <br />services to be performed by the Cuyahoga County Health District; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract, a copy of <br />which is attached hereto and marked as Exhibit "A," with the Cuyahoga County General Health District <br />to provide health services to the City of North Olmsted from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007. <br />SECTION 2: That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Director of Finance for <br />authority to pay semi-annual payments under the provisions of this Resolution and said contract. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that the <br />current contract expires on December 31, 2006, and the new contract must be in effect by that date to <br />insure continuation of delivery of vital health services to the residents of North Olmsted, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ,( . t7C76 <br />AT?ST: - : <br />1 _.-. <br />f^-?-f-?. -?i:??•.? <br />f BARBARA L.
