CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-148 <br />BY: Mayor Thomas E. O'Grady <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ALTERNATIVE TAX BUDGET OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING <br />JANUARY 1, 2007, AND SUBMITTING THE SAME TO THE COUNTY <br />AUDITOR, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has heretofare prepared the alternative tax budget for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning January l, 2007, conforming with the requirements <br />of law; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the alternative tax budget of the City of North Olmsted, for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 2007, heretofore prepared by the Director of Finance and submitted to the <br />Council, is hereby adopted, as the alternative tax budget of the City of North Olmsted, for the fiscal <br />year beginning January 1, 2007. <br />SECTION 2: The Clerk be, and is hereby authorized and directed to certify a copy of said <br />budget and copy of this Resolution and to transmit the same to the auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately because it must be filed with <br />the County Auditor no later than by September 22, 2006, which is less than 30 days from the date of <br />passage of this Resolution, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor <br />PASSED: I? ?
