O' Grady <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BYPROVIDING <br />FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A STOP SIGN AT THE <br />NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF <br />SALZBURG CIRCLE AND WOODSIDE DRIYE IN ORDER <br />TO REGULATE WESTBOUND TRAFFIC ON SALZBURG <br />CIRCLE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the safety, health <br />and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted to install a stop sign at the northeast <br />corner of the intersection of Salzburg Circle and Woodside Drive to regulate westbound traffic <br />on Salzburg Circle; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the belief of this Council that the lack of this stop sign is a safety <br />hazard; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of the Traffic <br />Control File, which file can be amended only by Ordinance; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND THE STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized and <br />directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the <br />installation of a stop sign at the northeast corner of the intersection of Salzburg Circle and <br />Woodside Drive to regulate westbound traffic on Salzburg Circle. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to cause said stop sign to be <br />installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is immediately necessary to protect the residents, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
