O' Grady AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BYPROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A STOP SIGN AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF SALZBURG CIRCLE AND WOODSIDE DRIYE IN ORDER TO REGULATE WESTBOUND TRAFFIC ON SALZBURG CIRCLE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted to install a stop sign at the northeast corner of the intersection of Salzburg Circle and Woodside Drive to regulate westbound traffic on Salzburg Circle; and WHEREAS, it is the belief of this Council that the lack of this stop sign is a safety hazard; and WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of the Traffic Control File, which file can be amended only by Ordinance; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND THE STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of a stop sign at the northeast corner of the intersection of Salzburg Circle and Woodside Drive to regulate westbound traffic on Salzburg Circle. SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to cause said stop sign to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to protect the residents, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
