ORDINANCE IJO. 806 <br />By Mr. Crider <br />AN ORDINAA1CE <br />CONSENTING '1'0 THE I4AAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CERTAIN STHEETS <br />AND R()ADS BY THE BC)ARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CUYAHOGA <br /> COtTNTY, OHIO <br /> <br />GIVING THE COAISEN`P ; <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF NOftTH OLMSTED T0 THE MAINTMANCE AND <br />ftEPAIR of certain roads within the Village. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Comni.ssioners has tentative7y ap- <br />proved a Maintenan ce and Repa.ir program for the ysar 1950, and <br />WHEREAS, a nunber of the roads to be mai.ntained and repaired are <br />Village Streets and also County Iioads Irnown by the follow3ag names and lying <br />? between the limits designated, viz: <br />Alame of Road Fros Th <br />Brmdley E. Line Olmsted Township <br />Columbia Road <br />WHEREAS, the maintenance and repair is to include the following <br />operations: <br />1. Repairing roadway berms <br />2. Cleaning and repairing culverts and drainage systeats. <br />3. Cleaning, repairing and treatment of i^oad surface. <br />4. Planting, mowing, pruning and removj.ng weeds, trees and shrubs. <br />5. Repairing and installing guard rail. <br />6. Installing arid repa.i.riMg road signs and warning signs. <br />7. Painting traffic lanes, center lines and marking BR Crossings. <br />NOW, THEftMRE, Be It Ordai,ned by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio; <br />Section 1. That it is declared to be of public interest that the <br />eonsent of the Vi11age by and such eonsent is hereby given to the maintenanee <br />and repair oa the above mentioned highways between the terffiini aforesaid, bg <br />the Board of County Commi,ssioners. <br />Section 2. Thi.s Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />ordinance necessary for the immediate preservation of the pub].ic health and <br />safety; such necessity exi.sts by reason of the fact that freezing and thawing <br />action has created hazardous eonditions on these roads, in consequence whereof, <br />great public inconvenience wnuld be auffered and public travel endangered and <br />delayed; and said ordinance shall take effect at the earliest time as provided <br />by law. <br />See?i??_ That the Clerk be, and he is hereby directed to furnish <br />to the Board of County Coaumissioners of Cuyahoga Cotanty, Ohio, a certifisd <br />copy of this Ordinance immediately upon t he acloption thereof. <br />Passed: March 21, 1950. <br />E.
