ORDINANCE N0. 804 <br />By Mr. Crider <br />AN ORDINANCI; <br />PROHIBITING THROUGH TRUCKS FROM DRIYING ON CLAGUE ROAD, <br />BFTWEEN MASTICg RDAD AND THE NORTHERLY VILLAGE LIMITS . <br />HE IT ORDASATED by the Council of the Village of North <br />013asted, State of Ohi.o : <br />Secti_i on 1_ For the purpose of this ordinancep <br />A Motor Vehicle is described as follows: <br />Every vehicle propelled or drawn ?y power other than muscular <br />pbwer or power collected from overhead electric trollep wires,, <br />axeept road rollers, traction engines, poxer shovels, power cranes <br />and other equipsent used in construction work and not designed for <br />or eaployed in general highway transgortation, hole digging machinery, <br />well drilling machinery, ditch digging machinery, farm machinery., <br />threshing machinery, hay baling machinery, and agri.cultural tractors <br />and machinery used in the production of horticultural, floricultural? <br />agricultural and vegetable products. <br />A truck is defined as follows: Every mAtor vehicle <br />except trailers and semi-trailers designed and used to carrq praperty. <br />A through truck is a truck whose point of arigination <br />is outside the Village of North Olmsted and whose point of destiria- <br />tion is outside the Village of North 0]msted and said truck is not <br />stopping to make deliveries or pick ug material in the Yillage of <br />North Olmsted. <br />Section 2. Fron and after the effeetive date of this <br />ordinance, and when sYgns have been erected giving notice thereoP, <br />no driver of a Through Truck shall drive said truck on Clague <br />Road,, between Mastick Road and the Northerly Village Limits, in the <br />Village of North Olmsted. <br />Section 3. AnY person, firm or corporation vi.olating <br />the prov3.sions of this ordinance shall, upon eonviction thereof, be <br />fined not to exceed 450900. <br />Secti_ on 4, This o rdinance shall take effect and be in <br />foree from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />Passed: March 21, 1950 <br />E.
