Ordinance No. 793 <br />By Mr. Bawngardner <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />ESTABZISHING THE COMPIIVSATION OF THL SOLICITOft <br />13E IT ORDASNED by the Council of the Village of North <br />Olmsted, 5tate of Ohio: <br />Section 1. The compensation of the Solicitor for the <br />Village of North 0lmsted, for the term beginning January l, 1950" <br />shall be as follows: <br />ror attendance at regular meetings of the Council, <br />advice and legal opinions to the Village officials, the sum of <br />$175.00 per month, payable mAnthly. <br />For services in the preparation of transcripts of proceed- <br />ings pertaining to the issuance of bonds or notes; for services in the <br />preparation of resolutions, ordinances, notices, certificates, contracts, <br />official documents and legislation; for services in the Mayor's Gourt <br />as prosecuting attorney; for any and all services rendered in behalf of <br />Village in any and all proceedi.ngs in court, either civil or criminal, <br />whether the Village be plaintiff or defendant; for stenographic ser- <br />vices; and for all serviees not herein specifically set forth: such additional <br />compensation as may be reasonable, to be paid upon bills duly rendered. <br />Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure in that the same provides for the usual operation of <br />a municipal department and is necessary for the imrnediate preservation of <br />public health, peace, safety and welfare, and provided it receives the affir- <br />mative wte of three-fourths of all the members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be i.n force immediately upon its passage; othexwise it shall <br />take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed <br />by law. <br />Passed: December 27, 1949. <br />E.
