Ordinance No. 787 <br />By Mr. Bawngardner <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE ADDITIONAL ArPROPRIATIONS FbH <br />CURRr`NT EXPENSES AND OTIi'i+?'R SXPIIdDITURES OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, DURING THF, FISCAL YEA,R ENDING, <br />DECE;MBER 31, 1949. <br />Section 1. Whereas additional funds in the amount of $1378.75 <br />have come into the treasury of +he Village of North 0lmsted, from <br />the Gasoline Taxes, now therefore: <br />Section 2. Be it ordained by the Council of the Village of <br />No rtr 0lmsted, Ohio: that to provide for current expenses and <br />other expenditures of the saie Village of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the <br />fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 1949 the following sums be and they are <br />hereb; set aside and appropriated as follows, viz; <br />GASULINF TAX FUND r <br />$1378.75 to Repairs by Contract. <br />Section 3. And the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the Village Trsasurer for paqments from any of the <br />foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by <br />law to a-nprove same, or an ordinance or Resolution of Council to make <br />the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid fo r <br />salaries or wages e.#cept to persons employed by authority of and in <br />accordance with law or Ordinance. Provided further, that the appro- <br />priation for contingencies can on1,y be expended upon approval of <br />two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a lega1 <br />obligation against the Village and for the purposes other than those <br />covered by the Dther specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 4. T hat this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure, in that it relates to the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and to the usual daily operation of the several municipal <br />departments of the Xillage of North 0lmsted, and shall take effect <br />and ?me in force from and after its passage. <br />Passed: December 20, 1949. <br />E.M.
