If the amDunt of such <br />reductioa eacceeds such July 1947 bill, then the eacesa shall be applied to the <br />reducti"san of bills of such cnstoffier for the same claas of service supplied to <br />such customer prior t?o December 24, 1947. That such person, firm or corporatiQn shall furnish and <br />keep in repair meters for the meaeurment of eleatricity so consumed io.thout <br />making any separate charge f'or the use or repair oP them. <br />Sectian 3. It is not intended by this ord3nanca that the Yillage <br />shall hereb,q exercise arq poers it may have to regulate rates at wbich general <br />eomercial or residential electric serPice shall be pruvided to the Village <br />and ita inhabitants, but oaly to offer to coatract r+ith aray person, firm or <br />corporation xhich may accept this ordinance as herein provided. <br />Section k. That the acceptaace of this ordiaanee by any person, <br />firm, or corporation supplying electricity to the Village of North Olmsted and <br />to its inhabitants by filing a written acceptnace with the Clerk of this nillage <br />within ten days after this ordinance shall take effect, shall constitute a <br />valid and binding oontract. <br />Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in force and ePfect Por a <br />period of four years from its effective datef provided, however, that at any <br />time after the expiration of the first e3ghteen manths of the etYectire period <br />of this ordinance the Village at its option may elect to erminate ary contract <br />resulting from the acceptance of the prvvisions of this ordinance by ary person,
