oRDINANCE No. 557 <br />B?r Mr. Decker <br />AN OEDINANCE <br />TO DFSIGNATE THE DISTINGUISHING UNIFORM OT BE WORN gy THE <br />PaLICE DEPARTMENT AND Ta DESIGIvATE THE IIARKTNG OF MJTOR VEFffCLES <br />AS REQUINED N SECTION 126169 et seq., OF THE GhIiERAL CODE OF THE <br />5TATE OF OHIO. <br />WHfEREAS the Marshal of the Uil].age of Idorth <br />Olmsted as the Chief Police Officer of the Village has <br />designated the uniYorms to be worn by the Poliee Department, <br />in aecordance with Section 12616 and following of the General <br />Code, <br />NOW, THEiEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council <br />of the Village of North 0lmsted, Ohio: <br />Sectio1_ That the distinguiahing uniforms <br />of the police officers of the Fillage of North Olmsted shall <br />be as follows: <br />B7.ue uniYorm,vdth wh3,te shix-t, and eight <br />point cap -- with badge on cap and badge on breast oP officer <br />designating his rank or title as an officer of the village of <br />North 0lmsted. <br />Section 2. Any motor vehicle used by said <br />Folice DepartmerYt shall be marked on both sidss thereof <br />?"Police -- ATorth 0lmsted Village. " <br />Sect? io„_, 3.
