ORDINANCE N0. 477 <br />By Mr. Rock <br />ORDINANCE ACCEPTING LANDS CONVEYID B7[ SUSAN LEICK. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILI,AGE UF ATORTH OLMSTED, STA3'E OF <br />OHIO, THAT <br />WHEREAS, this Council has authorized the conveyance of a certain <br />piece of land to Susan Leick and further described as follows: <br />"Situated in the Village of North Olmsted County of Cwrahoga, <br />State of Ohio and lflaown as being part of Original Olmsted Toivnship Lot <br />No. 13 Tract 6 and bounded and described as follows: <br />Beginning in the notherly line of Original Olmsted Township <br />Lot No. 13 Tract 6 at the northeaster],y ccarner of land conveyed to Susan <br />Leicks, by deed dated September ?J;, 1912 and recorded in Volwwee 1417 Page <br />227 of Cuyahoga Countg deed Records; thence SoutherLv along the easterly line <br />of said land so conveyed to 3usan Leick a distance of 766.67 feet to the <br />principal place of beginning; thence continui.ng southerly a].ong said easter- <br />line 267.$8 feet to a blazed tree; thence easter]y along the northerl,y <br />line of the easterly pro3ection of said land so conveyed to Susan Leick a <br />distance of 23.38 feet to an irom mDnument; thence North 4 degrees 53' 30" <br />west 268.10 feet to the principal place of beginning and containing 0.07 <br />acres more or less but subject to all legal highways." , <br />IN (70NSIDERATION of said conveyance by the Vi.llage of North <br />Olmsted to Susan Leick, sa,id Susan Leick has deeded and transferred and <br />conveyed to the Village of North 0]asted, t he fol].owing described property; <br />"Situated in the Village of North 0]msted, County of Cuyahoga, <br />State of Ohio and luiown as being part of Original Olmsted Township Lot No. <br />13 of Tract 6 and bounded and described as follows: <br />Beginning at the southeasterly co rner of land conveyed tfl Susan <br />Leick, by deed dated Sept. 24, 1912 and recorded in Volume 1417, page 227 of <br />Cuyahoga County Deed Records, thence North 4 degrees 58130 " West 1312.79 <br />feet to an iron monument and the principla place of beginning; thence con- <br />tinuing ATorth 4 degrees 53130" We-st 603.58 feet to a point in the northerly <br />line of the easter]y pro3ection of said land so coxsveyed to Susan Leick; <br />thenee easterly aloug said norther7y line to an iron monument; thence South <br />0 degrees 3213011 East 523.37 feet along the easterly line of said easter],p <br />projection of said land so conveyed to Susan Leick to a point; thence South <br />61 degrees 27140tt West 181.25 feet to the pri.ncipal place of beginning and <br />containing 2.39 acres mDre or less but subject to a11 legal highxay.n <br />"Beginning in the northerly line of Ori.ginal Olmsted Township <br />I,ot 13 Tract b at the northeasterly corner of land oonveyed to Susan I,eiek <br />by deed dated September ?J+, 1912 and recorded in Volume 1417 Page 227 of Cuy- <br />ahoga County deed xecords; thenee Southerly a1org the easterly line of said <br />land so conveyed to Susan Leick 766.67 feet to a point; thence North 4 degrees <br />53130" west 768.23 feet to a point in said mrtherl,y line of Lot No. 13; <br />thence North 88 degrees 44150" East 66.97 feet to the place of beginni ng at;d <br />containing 0.59 acres of land be the same mre or less but sub3eet to al4 <br />legal highwa,ys." <br />NOW THEREFbRE., this Cc>uncil accepts arid dedicates to public use <br />as aminicipal praperty, said property so transferred by said Susan Lei.ek <br />to the Village of North Olmsted. <br />This is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, necessary for <br />the preservation of the public peace, health and welfare, and to acquire <br />certaia additional lands by the Village of North 0lmsted, needed to straight- <br />en the westerly line of said Village Park,, and to provide a proper location <br />for the proposed road along said wester].y side of said park. <br />Passed: September 17, 1935 <br />Attest: E.
