r <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF NEW GCRTA/C~TY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />CONTRACT <br />rta95.doc <br />ecti n 3 <br />Five year term, beginning Jan. 1, 1995 until Dec. 31, 1999. <br />Cost -reimbursement retroactive to Jan. 1,1994. <br />Section 9 <br />Increase or decrease of five percent (5%) or more of cumulative service requires <br />recalulation of variable cost factors stated in Schedule 2. <br />Section 10 <br />RTA retains ownership of fixed capital improvements. <br />Section 11 <br />RTA agrees to reimburse NOMBL for parts inventory on hand as of Dec. 31, <br />1994. <br />NOMBL has right to procure parts from outside vendor or obtain from RTA. <br />Section 15 <br />All NOMBL operators shall be required to have valid Ohio C.D.L. <br />Section 17 <br />The NOMBL Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs and Policies shall be in <br />accordance with the RTA and Federal Transit Administration requirements. <br />Section. 23 <br />Additional language added to acknowledge transfer of NOMBL to RTA, if City <br />and RTA want to consider. <br />Seniority protection language added for NOMBL employees if transferred. <br />Section 38 <br />RTA agrees to build a new NOMBL service building within North Olmsted to <br />house a minimum of sixty buses with offices, dispatch center, natural gas <br />fueling capabilities, etc. <br />Site Selection Committee will begin within sixty (60) days after execution of <br />this RTA/City of North Olmsted agreement. <br />Schedule 2 Cost Reimbursement Model <br />Cost reimbursement to NOMBL will be by a Varible Reimbursement or Indirect <br />Reimbursement. <br />Variable Costs include all bus operators, maintenance and mechanical <br />hourly employees wages and fringe benefits; this represents about 73% of <br />the total NOMBL budget. <br />Indirect Costs include supervision and dispatchers wages and fringe benefits, <br />Utilities, Building Maint., Workers Comp., waste disposal, parts and <br />materials for buses, diesel fuel tax reimbursement, employee exams, etc. <br />this represents about 27% of the total NOMBL budget. <br />Both reimbursements will include a 6% City Administrative Fee, which should be <br />approximately $210,000 in 1995. <br />
