<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLU'T`ION N0.94-175 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN LIND <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 5,000 TONS OF ASPHALT AND TACK <br />COATING OF CITY STREETS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for 5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of city streets, according to <br />the specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the city's asphalt and tack <br />coating requirements and further provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of <br />all members of council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the mayor. <br />~~ <br />PASSED: %7~cc.sL.%t, 3 j r'~~~ <br />i~ / <br />TTEST: <br />.% <br />BARBARA L.
