. ~..., __ ..~_._,„,,:M~,„ <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO.94- i 74 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN DAVID LIND <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY PROVIDING FOR <br />THE REMOVAL OF "NO PARSING" SIGNS ON LeBERN <br />DRIVE FROM CLAGUE ROAD WEST TO HAWKINS ROAD, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the safety, health, <br />and welfare of the citizens of North Olmsted to remove the "No Parking" signs on LeBern Drive <br />between Clague Road and Hawkins Road, in order to permit parking on the North side of LeBern <br />Drive from Clague Road to Hawkins Road; <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of the traffic <br />control file, which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized to amend the traffic <br />control file of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the removal of the "No Parking" signs <br />on North side of LeBern Drive between Clague Road and Hawkins Road to now permit parking <br />on LeBern Drive as aforesaid. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause said "No Parking" <br />signs to be removed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared to by an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the area residents and <br />further reason that it is immediately necessary to remove the "No Parking" signs on the North side <br />of LeBern Drive between Clague Road and Hawkins Road, in order to promote safety within this <br />area of the City, and further, provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />
