~.r~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.94 - 149 <br />BY: Councilman David Lind <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR FUEL ISLAND CANOPIES AT THE SERVICE <br />GARAGE AND POLICE STATION AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON <br />FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of making improvements for <br />fuel island canopies at the service garage and police station, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an Agreement to <br />construct said improvement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for fuel island canopies at the service garage and police station <br />according to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and further, <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED ~~, ~ /9~~ <br />A ST: <br />arbara L.
