N . ~ ~ ...: <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0.94130 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN MCKAY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY PROVIDING FOR <br />THE INSTALLATION OF A "NO RIGHT TURN ON RED FROM <br />8:00 A.M. TO 6:30 P.M. WEEKDAYS" SIGN AT THE INTER- <br />SECTION OF MASTICK ROAD AND COLUMBIA ROAD FOR <br />TRAFFIC TRAVELING IN A WESTWARD DIItECTION ON <br />MASTICK ROAD AND TURNING NORTH ONTO COLUMBIA <br />ROAD, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AS AMENDED. <br />WI~REAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the safety, <br />health and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted to install a "No Right Turn <br />on Red from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m, Weekdays" sign at the intersection of Mastick Road and <br />Columbia Road for traffic traveling in a westward direction on Mastick Road and turning <br />north onto Columbia Road; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council and Administration to amend the <br />Traffic Control File to provide for the installation of said traffic control sign; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of the <br />Traffic Control File, which said file can be amended only by Ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized <br />and directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate the <br />installation of a "No Right Turn on Red from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Weekdays" sign as <br />aforesaid. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized and directed to cause <br />said sign to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />
