By: Mayor Edward Boyle and Council <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF <br />NO. 63 FLYER BUS SERVICE FROM LORAIN ROAD GREAT <br />NORTHERN PARK AND RIDE, TO DOWNTOWN <br />CLEVELAND, BY WAY OF ROUTE 1-480 AND I-71, AND <br />URGING RESIDENTS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SAID <br />SERVICE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority has, on a test basis, <br />approved a free fair promotion for flyer service, which service is designated as 63 Flyer. Said <br />service is from Lorain Road Great Northern Park and Ride to Downtown Cleveland by way of <br />I-480 and I-71; and <br />WHEREAS, the Regional Transit Authority has designated the promotion of this route <br />at a no-cost basis from September 12th through September 23rd; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council is in full support of this promotional measure and urges the <br />citizens of the City of North Olmsted to take full advantage of such a program in hopes of <br />having the program established on a permanent basis. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHID: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council does hereby declare its' support for improvements in the <br />Public Transit Services operated by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line as approved by the <br />Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, consistent with the promotional service specified <br />within this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 2: That this Council urges the riding public to take full advantage of the <br />promotion proposed by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority from the period of <br />September 12th through September 23, 1994. <br />
