• <br />~~«. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.94 - 99 <br />BY: Councilman Duane Limpert <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR AN ABOVE-GROUND <br />1,000 GALLON OIL STORAGE TANK AT THE BUS GARAGE AS DETAILED <br />IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of making <br />improvements for anabove-ground 1,000 gallon oil storage tank at the bus garage in <br />order to comply with the regulations of the Ohio EPA, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, asprepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into <br />and Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for anabove-ground 1,000 gallon oil storage tank at the bus garage <br />according to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board <br />of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members <br />of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the May <br />PASSED /(~ //q' <br />TEST: `~ <br />,~ <br />Barbara L.
