c ~ <br />the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages in Municipal buildings or in public parks <br />provided that: <br />1. The party wishing to sell alcoholic beverages obtains and presents to Council the <br />appropriate liquor permit as required by the State of Ohio allowing such sales to occur. <br />2. The party wishing to sell alcoholic beverages presents to Council a schedule <br />indicating the times and places of sale of such alcoholic beverages. Council for the City of <br />North Olmsted must then approve of the presented schedule. <br />3. The party wishing to sell alcoholic beverages agrees to abide by such guidelines as <br />the City of North Olmsted deems necessary to protect the health, safety and welfare of the <br />general public. Such guidelines shall be established by the Director of the Department of <br />Safety and shall be reasonably directed toward the protection of both those consuming <br />alcoholic beverages and the general public in their vicinity. <br />(b) The prohibition of possession, use, sale, or consumption of alcoholic beverages <br />in public buildings or on public grounds shall not apply to municipally owned golf courses, <br />dance halls or party centers. <br />(c) The prohibition of possession, use, or consumption of alcoholic beverages in <br />public buildings or on public grounds shall not apply to municipally owned senior housing or <br />any of the accessory. buildings associated therewith. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are <br />hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period allowed by law and the Charter of the City. <br />PASSED <br />ATTEST: <br />BARBARA SEMAN, <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />APPROVED <br />JAMES BOEHMER, <br />PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL/` <br />First Reading: ~ ~ ~ 7 <br />Second Reading: ~ ~ ' <br />Third Reading: ~'' 9 ~/ <br />~~ ~ ~~~ <br />z ~ c~c .~ <br />MAYOR EDWARD BOYLE <br />
