.R.~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0.94-96 <br />BY: Councilman Lind <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />ENTER INTO CONTRACTS FOR CERTAIN VOLUNTARY <br />WITHHOLDING PROGRAMS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />Whereas, employees of the City on occasion request voluntary payroll deductions for <br />savings, loan payments and supplemental insurance coverage; and <br />Whereas, Council believes that permitting certain payroll deductions improve the <br />attitude and efficiency of employees. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into the <br />contracts for the implementation of the voluntary payroll deductions as he may from time <br />to time deem necessary and appropriate. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />further, provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED ~ -S / 9 <br />ATTEST: '~ <br />~~ ~ <br />;~ , <br />r Barbara L.
