,._ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-93 <br />BY: DAVID LIND <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 3,000 TONS OF <br />SALT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for 3,000 tons of road salt in accordance with specifications now on file <br />in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the safe use of city streets <br />during the winter season, and frther provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ ~~- S C <br />ATTEST: <br />~ ~' / <br />i ` <br />BARBARA L.
