~M <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />Resolution No. 94 _ gg <br />BY: Councilman Duane Limpert <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE EAST <br />PARK AREA STORM SEWER AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON <br />FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of making <br />improvements to East Park Area Storm Sewer. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into <br />and Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for improvements to the East Park Area Storm Sewer according to <br />specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />further, provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED ~ ~ ~f~ <br />Barbara L.
